FOSA North America brings together alumni of Fijai Senior High School living across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and beyond to advance our alma mater, strengthen professional networks, and empower the next generation.
From Sekondi-Takoradi to the Global Stage.
Fijai Senior High School was established in 1952 in Sekondi, Ghana, built on the ideals of scholarship, discipline, integrity, and fellowship.
Over decades, thousands of young souls walked its halls, formed lifelong bonds, and traveled across continents. Recognizing the profound impact Fijai had on our personal and professional lives, alumni residing in North America organized to establish FOSA North America Group Inc.
Formally incorporated in the United States and granted 501(c)(3) public charity tax-exempt status by the IRS in April 2023, FOSA North America operates as a transparent, legal, and impactful bridge between the diaspora and Fijai SHS.

To unite alumni of Fijai Senior High School across North America, advance the educational and infrastructural development of Fijai SHS, and create sustainable social and economic opportunities for our members and communities.

To become the premier African diaspora high school alumni network in North America, renowned for transparent stewardship, transformative educational philanthropy, and unwavering community brotherhood.
Our Four Pillars of Purpose
Everything we do is focused on four interconnected communities that form the heart of our mission.
1. Fijai SHS
Building transformative infrastructure such as the Ultra-Modern Carpentry Workshop, upgrading learning centers, and supplying academic materials that keep our school competitive.
2. The Diaspora Alumni
Creating a vibrant professional and social network across the US, Canada, and Mexico that assists newly relocated alumni, provides career mentorship, and hosts annual gatherings.
3. Current Students
Providing scholarships to needy but brilliant students, retooling the cadet corps, and equipping young minds with hands-on vocational and technology skills before graduation.
4. Our Communities
Demonstrating civic responsibility, community volunteerism, and philanthropic giving that reflects honor on our school and culture in both North America and Ghana.
